How long do strawberries last after picking?

They are best eaten fresh the day of picking or promptly frozen to enjoy all year with a variety of uses. Our strawberries are great for jam making also.

Should I put them in the fridge? 

You can refrigerate them without washing but will only last a day or two.

How long is the season?

We are done (usually) picking by the end week of June.
